Stuart Hausmann is a Dallas-based artist and author-illustrator represented by United Talent Agency. He studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and went on to earn his BFA with honors from the University of Texas at Arlington. His work has been showcased throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, and was featured in Craighead Green Gallery’s New Texas Talent exhibition. He is a winner of the Dallas Arts District’s Year on the Plaza Art Competition, and was honored with the Dallas Voice's Best Local Artist award. In 2023 Hausmann made his debut as an author-illustrator with Linus, a children's picture book published by Simon & Schuster. A recipient of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission’s and Arlington Public Library's Art is for Everyone Artist Grant, Hausmann is an advocate for making art accessible to all.

When he's not at his easel, Stuart can be found playing and watching basketball, eating tacos, or dancing with his partner at the local cowboy saloon.
